Barrow extended their lead at the top of the National League table to seven points after recording a 1-0 home victory over Dover.
The hosts had the ball in the net in the 11th minute but Scott Quigley’s effort was disallowed after Dior Angus had been ruled offside in the build-up.
Barrow continued to push for the opener but were denied twice in the space of three minutes as Aaron Simpson made a goal-line clearance before Josh Kay was thwarted.
There was a lengthy stoppage early in the second half after Dover defender Kevin Lokko collided with his own goalkeeper, Ashley Maynard-Brewer, and had to receive treatment before coming off.
Barrow eventually broke the deadlock in the 73rd minute when Angus tapped in the rebound after Maynard-Brewer had kept out Quigley’s initial effort.
They almost doubled their lead soon after but Maynard-Brewer made a fine save to deny Quigley, before Dominic Poleon hit the bar for Dover.
Second-placed Harrogate were denied the chance to pick up further points as their clash with Barnet was abandoned at half-time following heavy rain.
