Atletico Madrid come together once again ahead of two vital matches

It has become normal for Atletico Madrid to come together before a big game, with the squad and coaching staff going to dinner before the match against Granada last weekend.
Atletico CEO Miguel Angel Gil Marin wanted to send a message of unity to everyone whilst also emphasising how important this period of the season is in reaching their goals.
Although it was hardly a vintage performance, Los Colchoneros were able to secure all three points at home to the Andalusians and thus return to the Champions League positions.
On Wednesday, Atletico repeated the same ritual in Robledo de Chavela, a village in Madrid, according to La Sexta.
They are aware that their next two games, away at Valencia and then at home to Liverpool in the last 16 of the Champions League, are vital if they are to not only finish in the top four but also look to cause an upset against the Champions League holders.
