Shrewsbury boss Sam Ricketts has a depleted squad for the Sky Bet League One match against Accrington.
Ollie Norburn is still struggling with a knee injury he sustained during the 2-2 draw with Liverpool in January, and is not expected to recover in time.
Former Stanley man Shaun Whalley will miss out on facing his old club due to a hamstring problem.
Josh Vela will have to wait to make his debut for Shrewsbury as he faces a couple of weeks out with a muscle injury.
Accrington manager John Coleman could give Benny Ashley-Seal his debut.
The 21-year-old forward has joined the club on loan from Wolves.
Bobby Grant could also feature after he returned to his first club on loan from Wrexham.
Coleman could be boosted by the return of Sam Finley (hip) and Colby Bishop (hamstring) within the next couple of weeks.
