A late goal from Alex Kenyon earned Morecambe a valuable point in a 1-1 draw with Mansfield at the Globe Arena.
Mansfield looked set for the three points after Joe Riley had given them the lead on the hour, but Kenyon netted a leveller five minutes from time.
After a poor first half, Mansfield improved in the second and were rewarded with Riley’s opener.
A deep Malvind Benning free-kick was headed downwards by Krystian Pearce and although his effort was saved by Christoffer Mafoumbi, the ball squirmed away and Riley was in the perfect place to slot home from two yards out.
Mansfield almost added a second when a Ryan Sweeney curler was cleared off the line by Ryan Cooney, but they failed to press home the advantage and let Morecambe back into it with a goal on 85 minutes.
Jordan Cranston swung in a right-wing corner and Kenyon beat Bobby Olejnik to the loose ball to poke it across the line.
Jordan Slew wasted a great chance to give Morecambe the three points in injury time with a shocking miss from close range.
