Michael Rose could return for Coventry when they face Bolton on Saturday.
The defender sat out Tuesday’s FA Cup penalty shoot-out exit to Birmingham with a hamstring injury.
Josh Pask is available to deputise again if left-back Rose fails to make it.
Wolves loanee Ryan Giles returns to contention after not being eligible to face Birmingham in the cup replay.
Jacob Mellis could make his Bolton debut.
He is not fit enough to start but is expected to be in the squad at St Andrew’s.
Wanderers added several players in January, with Ryan Delaney being one who could make his bow.
Jack Hobbs is closing in on fitness but Ali Crawford is unlikely to return until the end of February.
