Loan signing Cameron Carter-Vickers could be in line for his first Luton start at home to Cardiff.
The Tottenham defender spent the first half of the season on loan at Stoke and made his Hatters’ debut as a substitute against West Brom last weekend.
Callum McManaman has proved his fitness after hamstring trouble but defender Sonny Bradley will be checked after missing the 2-0 defeat at West Brom.
Eunan O’Kane, Danny Hylton and Brendan Galloway are all unavailable for the Sky Bet Championship clash.
Albert Adomah is set to make his Cardiff debut after joining on loan from Nottingham Forest for the rest of the season.
Young full-back Dion Sanderson could also feature but Brad Smith, the third loan signing that Cardiff made just before the transfer window, might have to build up his fitness before being involved.
Lee Tomlin, Sean Morrison, Curtis Nelson and Alex Smithies are all set to return after being rested for the FA Cup replay defeat to Reading on Tuesday.
But midfielder Joe Ralls (glute) remains out for at least another week.
