Shane Sutherland and Smart Osadolor struck late goals to boost Elgin City’s play-off hopes in a 2-1 win at Brechin.
Sutherland and substitute Osadolor scored in the final seven minutes to cancel out Martin Scott’s first-half effort for bottom club Brechin.
Elgin were the only side in the top four to secure all three points as leaders Cove Rangers were held at Albion, while second-placed Edinburgh City and third-placed Cowdenbeath both lost.
Cove Rangers let slip a two-goal lead at second-bottom Albion, who hit back in the closing stages through Euan East and Scott Roberts after Mitch Megginson and Jamie Masson had put the visitors in control.
Edinburgh City slipped to their second defeat in three league games, losing 1-0 at home to Stirling, for whom Jordan McGregor headed a 69th-minute winner.
Cowdenbeath came unstuck at Queen’s Park, with Craig Slater’s early goal proving decisive, and Stenhousemuir made it back-to-back away wins as first-half goals from Ryan Blair, Botti Biabi and Callum Moore secured them a 3-0 win at Annan.
