Morton hold on with 10 men to draw with Dundee

Dundee saw their winless run stretch to four Ladbrokes Championship matches after being held to a 1-1 draw at 10-man Morton.
The visitors – who had lost their last three games in all competitions – took the lead on 12 minutes.
Christophe Berra set Kane Hemmings clear and the striker turned his marker to fire a half-volley into the back of the net.
Morton equalised after 26 minutes as captain Jim McAlister knocked the ball in from close range after Nicky Cadden’s deflected free-kick had been parried out by Dee keeper Conor Hazard.
The home side were reduced to 10 men just before the hour, when midfielder Kyle Jacobs was sent off for a second caution following a foul on Declan McDaid.
Dundee almost made swift use of their advantage when a curling shot from McDaid struck the post and Jordon Foster headed the rebound wide.
Dundee drop out of the play-off places down to sixth, while Morton are two points clear of the relegation zone.
