Oldham will check on midfielder Chris McCann ahead of their Sky Bet League Two clash with Bradford.
The Irishman is close to returning after a month out.
Forward Johan Branger-Engone will hope to feature after appearing as a late substitute in the midweek victory over Mansfield following injury.
Gary Woods, Jamie Stott and Emmanuel Dieseruvwe have also been on the sidelines. Veteran midfielder David Jones has now left the club following the expiry of his short-term contract.
Bradford are without midfielder Jamie Devitt through suspension while top scorer James Vaughan has joined Tranmere on loan.
Devitt was sent off in the midweek draw with Cheltenham for two bookable offences.
Vaughan, who had scored 11 goals for the Bantams this season, will play for League One Rovers for the remainder of the season.
Gary Bowyer’s side do have Academy graduate Dylan Mottley-Henry available after his return to the club from Barnsley.
