Fleetwood without Harrison Biggins for visit of Doncaster

Fleetwood boss Joey Barton will be without midfielder Harrison Biggins for Saturday’s Sky Bet League One home match with Doncaster.

He was forced off after 12 minutes of Tuesday’s goalless draw with Coventry having suffered a suspected fractured cheekbone, which could sideline him for the rest of the season.

Barton is already without loanee Jordan Rossiter due to a serious knee injury, while Kyle Dempsey had to be replaced in midweek with a knock.

Forward Conor McAleny, who came off the bench against Coventry, also left on Thursday to sign for Shrewsbury on loan.

Attacker Fejiri Okenabirhie will hope to make his Doncaster debut this weekend after joining the club.

He departed Shrewsbury after scoring 19 goals during an 18-month spell and will look to help fire Darren Moore’s men to promotion.

Forward Devante Cole made his debut during Tuesday’s 3-1 win over Southend, but may have to wait before making his full bow for the club.

Kieran Sadlier returned from a broken nose and concussion to fire a match-winning brace in midweek and is expected to feature from the off again on Saturday, although striker Rakish Bingham has now left after his short-term contract expired.
