Tomlin set for substitute role as Cardiff host Reading

Lee Tomlin might again have to settle for a place on the Cardiff bench at home to Reading on Friday after his midweek winner against West Brom.
Tomlin has been troubled by a knee injury and Bluebirds boss Neil Harris admitted he “just about got through 30 minutes” as a substitute on Tuesday.
Fellow forward Danny Ward will be assessed after missing the last two games with a head injury.
Brad Smith, the Bournemouth left-back signed on loan for the rest of the season on Thursday, could be among the Cardiff substitutes.
Reading have defender Tom McIntyre available for the second of three meetings between the two clubs in the space of 10 days.
McIntyre was sent off in the FA Cup draw with Cardiff last weekend, but the 21-year-old served his one-match suspension on Tuesday when the Royals lost 1-0 to Bristol City.
Matt Miazga is set for a lengthy absence after suffering a torn ankle ligament in the FA Cup clash with Cardiff.
Ben House was a second-half substitute in that fourth-round tie, but the young striker has joined Vanarama National League side Dagenham & Redbridge on loan for the second time this season.
