Sam Field could return from injury for Charlton against Barnsley

Charlton’s on-loan midfielder Sam Field could be in contention for the Sky Bet Championship match against fellow relegation-battlers Barnsley.
The 21-year-old has been sidelined since the end of October by a knee injury, which saw him return to parent club West Brom for part of his rehabilitation, but has now resumed full training.
Striker Lyle Taylor, linked with a move away ahead of the deadline, should be involved again after making his comeback from a long-term knee issue in the goalless draw against Fulham.
Forward Chuks Aneke (hamstring) is another stepping up his recovery, along with Jake Forster-Caskey (knee), Macauley Bonne (hamstring) and defender Lewis Page, who has yet to feature this season because of his own hamstring problem.
Barnsley, who are second from bottom of the table, are likely to be without Marcel Ritzmaier for the trip to south London.
Midfielder Ritzmaier joined the Tykes earlier in January from Austrian club Wolfsberger and played in last week’s FA Cup defeat at Portsmouth, but has picked up an unspecified fitness problem.
Forward Cauley Woodrow, fit again after hamstring trouble, should also be involved after scoring on his return to the side, along with defender Michael Sollbauer, who made his debut at Fratton Park.
Alex Mowatt could come back into the team and midfielder Mike Bahre may be fit again after illness, but defender Bambo Diaby remains suspended pending an investigation into a potential anti-doping issue.
