Midfielder Jordan Rossiter has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.
Coventry manager Mark Robins made just one change for the weekend’s FA Cup draw against Birmingham but he may be tempted to change further for a second game in four days.
Midfielder Callum O’Hare was left on the bench because of a knock picked up in training but is set to return to the starting line-up after coming on as a substitute.
Forward Max Biamou could also be given a chance after impressing as a substitute.
Winger Jodi Jones continued his comeback from a year out with a second ruptured ACL with another outing for the under-23s on Monday.
