Dujon Sterling a doubt for Wigan’s clash with Sheffield Wednesday

Wigan will assess a number of players before naming their squad for the home game against Sheffield Wednesday.
Defender Dujon Sterling is rated touch-and-go after picking up an illness while being sidelined through injury.
Anthony Pilkington and Josh Windass will also be closely monitored before a decision is made on their availability.
Joe Gelhardt missed the defeat at Swansea due to illness but returned to action for Latics’ Under-23 side last week.
Midfielder Massimo Luongo could miss Sheffield Wednesday’s next two Sky Bet Championship matches due to a groin strain.
Luongo missed Friday’s FA Cup win over his former club Queens Park Rangers and Owls manager Garry Monk does not expect the 27-year-old to feature in either of the club’s games this week.
Kieran Lee is expected to be fit following a shoulder injury which saw him sit out the game at Loftus Road.
Sam Hutchinson is doubtful after limping off with a knee problem in the same game, while defender Liam Palmer has returned to training.
