Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the club's top scorer this season.
Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been approached by Paris Saint-German over a potential move to the Ligue 1 champions as a replacement for outgoing striker Edinson Cavani. Aubameyang has been linked with a move away from the Gunners this season, but it wasn’t thought he would move until the summer.
Under a week remains in the January transfer window, making a move to PSG unlikely, but if Cavani leaves, Aubameyang would become PSG’s top target, according to FootMercato.
They are reporting that Aubameyang’s camp have met with PSG to discuss a potential loan move until the end of the season, with an option to buy.
Cavani, whose contract is up in the summer is eager to leave PSG, with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Atletico Madrid linked with his signature.

Aubameyang leaving Arsenal would be a huge blow for Mikel Arteta’s side, who are languishing in 10th in the table.
The Gabon international has scored 16 goals for Arsenal this season but and have generally been the club’s best player throughout the campaign.
Arsenal will be hoping that Cavani fails to find a club before the window shuts on Friday.
It’s thought that Cavani wants to move to Atletico Madrid but a deal has yet to be agreed.
Chelsea want to take the Uruguayan on loan until the end of the season but PSG would prefer a permanent deal.
United, meanwhile, are also after a striker but Cavani has reportedly snubbed their £10m-a-year salary offer.
FootMercato also say that Aubameyang also contacted PSG boss Thomas Tuchel in 2018 to explain that he wanted to move to Paris.

Although a move never materialised, Aubameyang is said to be keen on leaving Arsenal, at least at the end of the season.
Arsenal will not want to part ways with their most important player, but they may not have a choice if both PSG and Aubameyang force for the move before next Friday.
Arteta, however, has said that Aubameyang is happy with Arsenal.
"As far as I know, I think a week ago, we were discussing that he said he was so happy, that he didn’t agree with the things that were being written in the media, that he has his future here,” he said.
"I’m so happy with that so that’s where I’m standing at the moment.”
