Two goals from Ollie Palmer and another by Ashley Nadesan gave Crawley a battling 3-2 home win over Grimsby.
First-half goals from Elliott Whitehouse and James Hanson had seen the visitors come from behind to lead after 32 minutes at the Broadfield Stadium.
But Palmer completed his brace in the 70th minute before teeing up Nadesan for the winner with 13 minutes left.
Crawley boss John Yems had called for a reaction from his side having described the 2-1 defeat at Walsall as “diabolical”.
And the Reds forged ahead after 16 minutes as Palmer slotted home from close range after being set up by skipper Dannie Bulman.
But the lead lasted only five minutes as Whitehouse fired home after goalkeeper Glenn Morris had parried a shot from Charles Vernam.
The recalled Hanson struck to put the Mariners ahead at the second attempt after Morris had initially saved his goal-bound header from a Whitehouse cross.
Mariners keeper James McKeown kept his side ahead by tipping over a shot from substitute Reece Grego-Cox and denying Nadesan with his legs.
But he was helpless to prevent Palmer tapping in the equaliser from close range after a fine run by Nadesan.
Palmer turned provider seven minutes later to set up Nadesan whose first home league goal for Crawley proved to be the winner.
