Leaders Barrow held by Boreham Wood

Barrow were denied a sixth straight win in all competitions but extended their lead at the top of the National League with a 1-1 draw at Boreham Wood.

Josh Kay put the table-toppers ahead. The midfielder cut inside from the left and curled his shot into the far corner of the net.

Dior Angus, John Rooney, Brad Barry and Scott Quigley had all worked home goalkeeper Nathan Ashmore before Kay made the breakthrough after 34 minutes.

Tyrone Marsh levelled things up midway through the second half.

Barrow, unbeaten in all competitions since October, are now four points clear of second-placed Harrogate after they lost at home to Wrexham.
