Dunfermline ended their five-match Ladbrokes Championship losing streak in style as they eased to a 2-0 win over Dundee.
Neither side created clearcut chances until Ryan Dow put the Pars ahead in the 28th minute with his sixth goal of the season.
The forward got on the end of a Dan Thomas cross to head home at the far post and Dunfermline improved their lead five minutes before the interval through Kevin Nisbet.
Nisbet ran at the Dundee defence before curling in from the edge of the area for his 15th goal in his last 12 Championship appearances to secure their first win since December 7 and cut the gap to the fourth-placed Dark Blues to just one point.
