Fylde fail again

AFC Fylde dropped to 22nd in the National League and dropped three points from safety after their 3-2 defeat to Torquay at Mill Farm.
The hosts took the lead through a stunning outside of the box strike from new signing Tom Walker in the 13th minute.
However, his effort was cancelled out just two minutes later after Asa Hall headed home for Torquay from a Connor Lemonheigh-Evans corner.
The visitors then took the lead on the half-hour mark after Jamie Reid finished smartly from eight-yards out.
Torquay doubled their lead on the hour mark through Ben Whitfield who converted from close range after Reid’s initial shot was saved.
Jordan Williams gave his side some hope late on after meeting a low-cross but Fylde could not find an equaliser.
