Loan trio in line for Huddersfield debuts

Huddersfield’s new signings Andy King, Emile Smith Rowe and Richard Stearman are all in contention to make their club debuts against Brentford.
Midfielders King and Smith Rowe have joined on loan until the end of the season from Leicester and Arsenal respectively, while defender Stearman is a free signing following his release from Sheffield United.
Defender Tommy Elphick (knee), midfielder Alex Pritchard (knee) and forward Collin Quaner (hip) will all be assessed after missing last week’s defeat at Barnsley.
Midfielder Jonathan Hogg misses out again as he will serve the final game of his two-match ban.
Brentford’s Halil Dervisoglu could be in line for his Sky Bet Championship debut, having been tipped to feature in the club’s 3-1 defeat of QPR on Saturday but eventually omitted from the squad.
Manager Thomas Frank will still be missing both Sergi Canos and Nikos Karelis for the trip to the John Smith’s Stadium.
Both players incurred serious knee injuries in October and have been sidelined since.
The Bees’ first signing of the transfer window, 18-year-old midfielder Paris Maghoma, is unlikely to make an appearance as he has been earmarked for the Brentford ‘B’ reserve squad.
