Louis Thompson could make MK Dons debut

Louis Thompson will hope to be involved in MK Dons’ Sky Bet League One clash with in-form Sunderland.
The 25-year-old midfielder has joined the Dons on loan from Norwich for the remainder of the season after spending the first half of the campaign with fellow third tier side Shrewsbury.
Canaries team-mate Carlton Morris, who joined the club on a similar basis last week, made his first start in Tuesday night’s 1-0 defeat at Burton after scoring on his debut at Coventry last weekend.
There will be another familiar face for Thompson in the shape of former Swindon colleague Ben Gladwin, who has been used as a substitute in the last two games after more than two years out of the game through injury.
Kyle Lafferty could be handed a debut for Sunderland after signing a short-term deal following his departure from Norwegian club Sarpsborg 08.
The 32-year-old Northern Ireland international is included in the squad for the first time as the Black Cats target a fourth win in five outings.
Defender Tom Flanagan is fit after a scan on the shoulder he injured during last Saturday’s 4-0 win over Wycombe showed no lasting damage.
Manager Phil Parkinson otherwise has no fresh selection problems, and midfielder Elliot Embleton, who has been out since September with a hamstring injury, is due to return to full training next week.
