Hull hoping to have Josh Magennis back for Fulham clash

Hull boss Grant McCann is hopeful striker Josh Magennis could return from a hamstring injury for his side’s Championship clash with Fulham.

The Northern Ireland international suffered a setback prior to last weekend’s FA Cup win over Rotherham, but has improved and will face a late test.

Keane Lewis-Potter is expected to retain his place in the Tigers’ line-up after shrugging off his recent illness.

Callum Elder and Stephen Kingsley (both hamstring) are both still out but expected to shortly return to training.

Fulham boss Scott Parker could make changes following last Sunday’s FA Cup win over Aston Villa.

Defender Stephen Sessegnon missed the Villa game with a groin problem but could be on the verge of a return.

Harrison Reed and Tom Cairney (both calf) were also ruled out last week and will face fitness tests.

Fulham received a boost this week when they completed the permanent signing of Ivan Cavaleiro from Wolves following a successful loan spell.
