John Rooney hit a hat-trick as Barrow extended their Vanarama National League unbeaten run to 11 games with a 7-0 win over struggling Ebbsfleet at Holker Street.
Barrow took the lead after 15 minutes when Scott Quigley outmuscled a defender and crossed for Tom White to tap home.
And nine minutes later the visitors were reduced to 10 men when Jack King was shown a straight red card for hauling down Quigley when clean through on goal.
Things went from bad to worse for Ebbsfleet just a minute later when Rooney opened his account for the day when he curled home superbly from the resulting free-kick.
Quigley got the scoresheet himself two minutes before the break after Brad Barry’s cross picked him out and he made no mistake.
Olly Dyson headed home Lewis Hardcastle’s cross to make it four after 70 minutes before Jack Hindle pulled the ball back for Quigley to fire home his second of the afternoon.
Rooney then scored with another fine free-kick before finishing well late on to complete his hat-trick.
