Mansfield could be without Willem Tomlinson as they take on Grimsby in Sky Bet League Two on Saturday.
Tomlinson picked up an injury against Bradford on December 29 and missed his side’s win at Cambridge on New Year’s Day.
Nicky Maynard is expected to retain his place after returning to the side against Cambridge and striking a hat-trick.
Ryan Sweeney is expected to remain sidelined and could be replaced by centre-back Krystian Pearce.
Ian Holloway could be without Jordan Cook for his first game in charge of Grimsby.
The midfielder made his first start after recovering a groin problem on New Year’s Day but was forced off in the first half with a calf issue.
Matt Green will also miss out on facing his former club through injury, with a groin problem which forced him to miss his side’s 1-0 win over Salford on Wednesday.
James Hanson (calf) is also expected to miss out against Mansfield.
