Brentford set to name unchanged team for FA Cup clash with Stoke

Thomas Frank could name an unchanged side for Brentford’s FA Cup third round clash with Stoke.
The Bees made two changes for their 4-0 win over Bristol City on New Year’s Day but if Frank chooses to make changes, Emiliano Marcondes could be included in the starting XI.
The forward returned from a loan spell in Denmark on New Year’s Day and came off the bench at Ashton Gate, but could make his first start since August.
Sergi Canos and Nikos Karelis are unavailable with knee problems.
Stoke have recalled Thibaud Verlinden from his loan spell at Bolton and could be included in the Potters’ matchday squad.
The winger made 17 appearances for Bolton, scoring three times, and could be set for an immediate return in Michael O’Neill’s side.
Captain Ryan Shawcross looks set to miss out after he went off with a calf problem against Fulham on December 29 and missed their New Year’s Day defeat at Huddersfield.
Sam Vokes and Tyrese Campbell have both netted in the last two matches and are likely to retain their places for the cup clash.
