Rotherham made it three wins in a row and moved up to second in Sky Bet League One thanks to a late 2-1 victory over Blackpool.
Dan Barlaser set up the opener before clinching the victory himself with an 85th-minute free-kick.
Nathan Delfouneso snatched at the first big chance of the game as he fired over from 12 yards out.
Rotherham then forged ahead in the 21st minute, with Michael Smith rising highest to head Barlaser’s floated corner in.
The visitors hit back in the 34th minute – Armand Gnanduillet free at the backpost to guide in Jordan Thompson’s pass.
Rotherham’s Daniel Iversen was called into action early in the second half as he denied Matty Virtue from close range and then Gnanduillet’s driving effort.
The hosts were pushing the harder for a second goal and Smith was only denied by Ollie Turton’s header on the line.
Kyle Vassell was then unfortunate not to beat Mark Howard, who diverted his shot away with his feet.
The Millers had to wait until five minutes from time to celebrate the winner, with Barlaser curling in a free-kick from the edge of the box.
