Wrexham climbed out of the Vanarama National League relegation zone following a 2-0 win at Chorley.
The Dragons beat Chorley 3-1 on Boxing Day and completed a Festive period double with goals from Devonte Redmond and Omari Patrick.
Wrexham took the lead after 72 minutes when Patrick’s cross to the back post was nodded home by Redmond.
And Patrick himself doubled the advantage eight minutes later with a stunning strike. He turned away from the goal before taking a moment and curling home a fine effort into the top corner of the net from 25 yards.
Adam Blakeman came closest to finding the net for Chorley but his shot from 20 yards came back off the crossbar in the 87th minute.
