Newport boss Flynn faces selection headache

Newport boss Michael Flynn is likely to be without a number of players for the visit of Cheltenham in Sky Bet League Two on New Year’s Day.
Mark O’Brien, Kyle Howkins, Dan Leadbitter, Robbie Willmott, Corey Whitely and Ade Azeez all missed Sunday’s draw with Leyton Orient through injury and could again be absent.
Midfielder Lewis Collins was also sidelined by illness and is doubtful.
Winger Keanu Marsh-Brown has now left the club after being released over Christmas.
Cheltenham will be without midfielder Alex Addai through suspension.
Addai is beginning a three-match ban after being sent off in the closing moments of Sunday’s draw at Northampton following an altercation with an opponent.
The Robins will check on Jake Doyle-Hayes, who was forced off after a blow to the face at the weekend, and illness victim Jonte Smith.
Luke Varney (knee) and Reuben Reid (groin and hamstring) are nearing first-team returns but this game may come too soon.
