Illness limits Fulham options ahead of Reading clash

Fulham manager Scott Parker will check on the fitness of midfielder Josh Onomah ahead of the visit of Reading in the Sky Bet Championship on New Year’s Day.
The former Tottenham midfielder took part in the warm-up and started Sunday’s game against Stoke despite feeling unwell and was then forced off before half-time.
Fulham also lost centre back Alfie Mawson and midfielder Tom Cairney to illness during the 1-0 win over the Potters and Parker says they face a battle to regain fitness in time.
Reading manager Mark Bowen revealed he has the option to keep an unchanged team but is considering making changes despite their 2-0 away victory over Preston.
That was a third straight win without conceding and a fourth clean sheet in a row but Bowen is mindful of the toll on his players at a busy time of the year.
Striker Sam Baldock could be an option after resuming training while Romanian forward George Puscas is also back on the training ground and is nearing fitness.
