Darren Moore set to mix things up when Doncaster face Oxford
Posted Monday, December 30, 2019 by PA
Doncaster boss Darren Moore is set to make changes to his starting line-up for the visit of high-flying Oxford.
Moore praised his side’s battling qualities despite watching them come up short in the 2-1 defeat to Sunderland last time out.
Reece James and Kwame Thomas are among those pushing for recalls after two games on the bench.
Moore does not expect to have any new injury concerns as Rovers look to re-ignite their faltering play-off push.
Oxford’s victory at AFC Wimbledon lifted them to second place in the table and extended their winning run to three matches.
Boss Karl Robinson made five changes for Sunday’s trip and he could do the same again as Oxford look to continue their fine form.
James Henry is pushing for a return to the starting line-up after shrugging off the thigh injury which saw him drop to the bench against the Dons.
Meanwhile, with a recent illness bug beginning to ease, Tarique Fosu and Matty Taylor could also contend for starting places.
