Fleetwood boss Joey Barton does not expect any new injury concerns for his side’s League One meeting with Sunderland.
Kyle Dempsey and Wes Burns made successful returns to the starting line-up for Sunday’s frustrating goalless draw with Bristol Rovers.
Conor McAleny could come into the side after replacing Josh Morris midway through the weekend clash.
Jordan Rossiter is currently the only long-term absentee for Fleetwood, with a knee injury which has ruled him out for the rest of the season.
Sunderland ended their nine-match winless run with a hard-fought 2-1 victory at Doncaster on Sunday.
And under-pressure boss Phil Parkinson could make changes as he looks to move his side back into the play-off picture.
Grant Leadbitter and Duncan Watmore both dropped to the bench for the trip to South Yorkshire but could be in line to return.
Defender Tom Flanagan is expected to miss out again after picking up a hamstring injury over the Christmas period.
