Benzema's controversial gold-covered steak

Karim Benzema was filmed cutting a gold-covered steak made by the world-famous chef Salt Bae.

Seven months ago, Franck Ribery shared a similar video displaying the 1,200-euro fillet which resulted in the Bayern Munich player receiving a wave of criticism.

The Real Madrid striker has visited the same restaurant in Dubai to try the luxurious steak but could face a similar response to his former international teammate.
