Kitching sinks Dagenham

Mark Kitching scored the only goal of the game as Hartlepool overcame a stubborn Dagenham side.
Josh Hawkes had the best chance of the first half for Pools but his 30-yard strike was tipped over the crossbar by Elliot Justham.
Hartlepool forward Gime Toure had a goal ruled out for offside before the break, while Dagenham finally came to life in the early stages of the second half, with Joan Luque firing a shot into the side-netting and Ben Killip saving well from Joe Quigley.
Toure should have done better from close range and spurned two other chances as Hartlepool regained control.
And they grabbed the winner with 12 minutes remaining when substitute Tyler Hamilton’s first touch set Kitching away and the full-back finished smartly.
