Manchester United receive demand from Erling Haaland ahead of possible deal
Manchester United might have to guarantee Erling Haaland a regular starting berth if he is to quite Red Bull Salzburg for Old Trafford in January.
Sky Sports Italia’s Fabrizio Romano has revealed that United are one of four clubs to have submitted formal bids for the Norwegian which could provoke a bidding war.
The Red Devils have the advantage of Haaland having played under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Molde, but that might not be enough.
Romano wrote on Twitter: “He’s going to decide soon with his family and [Mino] Raiola.
“Ole knows he wants to play. He wants to be a starter. That will be the key of his next move.”
