Man Utd vs AZ Alkmaar - Jesse Lingard a doubt for Man Utd’s clash with AZ Alkmaar

Jesse Lingard looks set to join Paul Pogba on the sidelines when Manchester United host AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League.
The attacking midfielder picked up a knock in the win against Manchester City and was absent from training on Wednesday, as was Pogba having not featured since September due to an ankle injury.
Nemanja Matic is fit again and Phil Jones will be available, but the match is likely to come too soon for Diogo Dalot. Marcos Rojo, Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Eric Bailly are also building fitness.
AZ have already qualified for the knockout stages and will beat United to top spot of Group L with victory at Old Trafford.
Arne Slot’s in-form side are second in the Dutch Eredivisie, but will be teenage star Myron Boadu will be absent on Thursday through suspension.
The 18-year-old was sent off in the previous Europa League fixture against Partizan Belgrade, but travelled to England with the 20-man squad for experience, as did ineligible new boy Hakon Evjen.
