Ipswich will have striker James Norwood back from a one-game ban when they face Coventry for the third time in 10 days in their FA Cup second-round replay.
Town boss Paul Lambert is expected to freshen up his side following the 1-1 draw in their Sky Bet League One fixture at St Andrew’s.
Midfielder Cole Skuse, who has overcome a hip problem, could be drafted in, along with goalkeeper Tomas Holy while defender Toto Nsiala (hamstring) is closing in on a return.
Captain Luke Chambers (neck) continues his recovery, while forward Freddie Sears (ACL) had a run-out for the Under-23s on Monday. Kane Vincent-Young (groin), Jack Lankester (back) and Teddy Bishop (knee) remain sidelined.
Coventry are also expected to rotate their starting XI for the trip to Portman Road.
Defender Dominic Hyam continues to be assessed on the hamstring problem which forced him off just before half-time on Saturday.
Forward Maxime Biamou picked up a bit of cramp late on, so Matt Godden, back from a groin problem, could be drafted into the Sky Blues’ attack alongside Amadou Bakayoko.
Winger Jodi Jones is stepping up the final stages of his recovery from a cruciate knee ligament injury.
