Sutton slipped into the National League relegation zone despite coming from behind to claim a 1-1 draw at Notts County.
The hosts took the lead after 14 minutes as Wes Thomas notched his eighth of the season by turning in Enzio Boldewijn’s low cross from close range.
The 32-year-old was denied a second 10 minutes later as he flicked Richard Brindley’s cross on target but Nik Tzanev made the save.
Sutton began to work their way into the contest as Harry Beautyman forced a save from Sam Slocombe before David Ajiboye fired over on the stroke of half-time.
The visitors struggled to build on that threat for much of the second half but their equaliser came in the 76th minute as Beautyman scored his ninth of the campaign from a tight angle.
Michael Doyle tried to hit straight back for County but Tzanev was equal to his strike.
