Coventry have been handed a double boost ahead of their home game with Ipswich.
Winger Jodi Jones returned to action in the Leasing.Com Trophy at MK Dons in midweek after two ligament tears cost him a year of his career.
Midfielder Jamie Allen, a summer signing from Burton, also made a belated full Sky Blues debut after injury against the Dons.
Matty Godden remains out with a groin injury, but the initial prognosis has been downgraded to six to eight weeks and the striker could be back shortly.
The pair drew 1-1 in the FA Cup last Sunday, so this is the second of three meetings between the two sides in the space of 10 days.
Seven-goal James Norwood misses out through suspension after picking up five bookings.
Kayden Jackson should return to the starting line-up after being among the substitutes in the FA Cup tie, while Ipswich boss Paul Lambert will recall several regulars rested for the midweek Leasing.Com Trophy at Peterborough.
Kane Vincent-Young (groin), Freddie Sears (ACL), Jack Lankester (back) and Teddy Bishop (knee) are all on the Tractor Boys’ casualty list.
