As per a report from the Manchester Evening News, Mauricio Pochettino is extremely keen on replacing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United.
Spurs wield the axe
As has since been widely-covered in the media, Argentine tactician Pochettino was somewhat-surprisingly relieved of his duties at Spurs two weeks ago.
On the back of an abysmal start to the season, which saw the north Londoners dwelling in 14th in the Premier League table, the board at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium came to the decision to part ways with their long-time boss:

Man United bound?
As such, speculation has since inevitably been rampant regarding where Pochettino could end up next.
Despite Spurs' struggles under his guidance this season, the South American is still viewed by many as one of world football's finest tacticians.
German giants Bayern Munich, meanwhile, are one of a number of clubs rumoured to be keen on Poch's services:

Another surprise potential destination to have been floated, meanwhile, is Arsenal.
As per the aforementioned report from the Manchester Evening News, though, Pochettino himself has his sights set on another club.
The outfit in question? Manchester United.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is under mounting pressure at Old Trafford, on the back of a 3-game winless streak across all competitions.
And, if Pochettino gets his wish, then he will soon replace the Norwegian on the Red Devils bench:
'The MEN understands Pochettino, recently sacked by Tottenham Hotspur, remains enchanted by the prospect of managing United after he was originally earmarked as Jose Mourinho's successor last season.'
Arsenal, though, are also said to remain firmly in the hunt for Poch, with the Argentine open to taking over the reins at the Emirates, despite his Tottenham ties.
