Inverness go second with victory over Alloa

Inverness moved up to second in the Ladbrokes Championship with a 2-0 win at Alloa.
A Scott Taggart own goal and Aaron Doran’s strike were enough for Caley Thistle to move above Ayr, whose game was postponed.
Inverness took the lead seven minutes before half-time when Taggart headed past his own goalkeeper when trying to defend a long ball forward from David Carson.
And seven minutes later it was 2-0 as Jordan White nodded Shaun Rooney’s cross into the path of Doran, who fired home his second goal in as many games.
Alloa’s Liam Dick was shown a straight red card for a 58th-minute challenge on James Keatings.
Kevin O’Hara was denied by the frame of the goal but the visitors could not add a third.
