Four-some Nisbet helps Pars punish Partick Thistle

Kevin Nisbet scored four goals as Dunfermline made the most of Thomas O’Ware’s early dismissal to thump Partick Thistle 5-1.
The Pars made a flying start as Nisbet opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the fourth minute after Greg Kiltie had been pushed in the area by O’Ware.
The Thistle defender was sent off, and that signalled a long afternoon for the visitors.
Lewis Martin slotted in a second from a Kiltie pass after 10 minutes and Nisbet added another penalty after he had been fouled in the 22nd minute.
Nisbet completed his hat-trick after 31 minutes with a neatly taken strike and added his fourth early in the second half from close range.
Partick pulled a goal back in the 74th minute through Reece Cole’s stunning 30-yard free-kick into the top corner but by that point the damage had been done.
