O’Neill ponders options after first Stoke defeat

Michael O’Neill will plot his response to a first defeat as Stoke manager when Blackburn visit the Bet365 Stadium.
O’Neill is not expected to make drastic changes following the 1-0 loss at Cardiff but has the option to recall Jame McClean after his return from suspension.
Tom Edwards will also hope for a return at right-back after dropping out for Cameron Carter-Vickers.
Badou Ndiaye made his start in South Wales but will be under pressure for his place from Nick Powell.
Tony Mowbray will consider the fitness of Sam Gallagher and Derrick Williams before settling on a Rovers side.
Gallagher sat out the midweek win over Brentford due to a hamstring issue and the manager must decide if rest has solved the problem.
If not, Danny Graham could continue in attack having successfully come back from his own ankle injury.
Williams has made better than expected progress after returning injured from the last international break and will be monitored.
