Shrewsbury will check on goalkeeper Max O’Leary ahead of the Sky Bet League One match against Bristol Rovers.
O’Leary, on loan from Bristol City, returned from an ankle problem to be on the bench for the midweek FA Cup first round replay win at Bradford.
Veteran Joe Murphy kept a clean sheet, so could be given the nod by Shrews boss Sam Ricketts to retain the jersey.
Defender Aaron Pierre should be back in contention for a place in the starting XI, having been an unused substitute following his early return from international duty with Grenada.
Bristol Rovers boss Graham Coughlan will check on how the players recovered from the midweek FA Cup win at Bromley on an artificial pitch.
Forward Jonson Clarke-Harris and midfielder Ollie Clarke have both been carrying recent muscular problems, so will be monitored.
Midfielders Abu Ogogo and Liam Sercombe came into the side, with Ed Upson and Kyle Bennett left on the bench so both could be in contention again.
Centre-back Tom Davies (knee) continues his recovery, while defender Josh Hare and midfielder Sam Matthews are long-term injury absentees.
