Cristiano Ronaldo stormed down the tunnel after being substituted
Cristiano Ronaldo stormed down the tunnel after being substituted during Juventus’ Serie A clash against AC Milan.
Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri hauled off the Portugal international after just 55 minutes of their Serie A showdown.
Ronaldo was replaced by Paulo Dybala with the Italian champions in search of a goal.
The former Real Madrid talisman didn’t take it well, with the 34-year-old storming down the tunnel.
Ronaldo threw his hands in the air when his number was called and trudged off the pitch.
The forward has now been substituted in Juventus’ last two clashes.
It means Ronaldo has been taken off this season as many times as he was throughout the entire 2018/19 campaign.
Ronaldo has struggled to reach his usual heights this season under Sarri.
The ex-Manchester United ace has netted six goals in 13 appearances for Juventus this season.
A goal every other game is decent for most, however, Ronaldo has set the bar so heigh many expect him to score in every game.
Dybala proved Sarri right on Sunday night, however, with the Argentina ace netting after 77 minutes.
The win sent Juventus back to the top of the Serie A table after 12 games.
Sarri’s men leapfrogged Inter Milan to go one point clear.
Juventus have won 10 and drawn two of their opening league games this time out.
Ronaldo will now link up with his Portugal team-mates during the international break over the next couple of weeks.
His countrymen will be hoping the forward is in a better mood for their European qualifiers against Lithuania and Luxembourg.
