Jon Stead suspended for Harrogate’s FA Cup tie against Portsmouth

Harrogate Town will be without former Premier League striker Jon Stead for their FA Cup first round tie against Portsmouth on Monday.
Stead was sent off for a late challenge in Harrogate’s defeat to Barnet late last month and serves the second match of a four-match ban.
Town boss Simon Weaver is also set to be without defender Connor Hall, who continues his recovery from a groin injury.
Weaver may opt to make changes to his line-up following last weekend’s disappointing 4-2 defeat at Eastleigh.
Pompey will be without Rangers loanee Ross McCrorie, who picked up a hamstring problem in the midweek win over Southend.
McCrorie has returned to Scotland for treatment and is expected to be sidelined for up to six weeks.
Former Harrogate keeper Craig MacGillivray could be fit to return against his former club.
MacGillivray, who played for the North Yorkshire club between 2012 and 2014, missed the Southend game with a thigh injury but has returned to training.
