Unbeaten Minstermen prepare for Altrincham challenge

York City will put their unbeaten record on the line when Altrincham visit Bootham Crescent in the FA Cup first round.
Steve Watson’s side sit top of the National League North on 36 points and have won all three of their cup qualifiers to date.
Kallum Griffiths replaced Nathan Dyer at right-back last weekend and the pair will contest the shirt again.
Striker Kyle McFarlane leaves a gap in the squad having left the club for a one-month loan at Stratford Town.
Altrincham, who lie 17 places behind the Minstermen in the league table, will need to check on Shaun Densmore.
He was forced off at half-time in the 2-2 draw at King’s Lynn and his replacement, Toby Mullarkey, stands by.
New signing Luke Wall was an unused substitute in that match and will be hoping to see action this time, while Yusifu Ceesay is back in contention after an outing off the bench.
Connor Hampson (foot ligaments) continues to work his way to full fitness.
