Bentley begins home reign as AFC Fylde boss with goalless draw against Dover

AFC Fylde were held 0-0 by Dover in Jim Bentley’s first home game in charge.
The Coasters had the best chances in a windswept Vanarama National League clash but could not find a way through organised visitors.
AFC Fylde’s best first-half chance saw Jordan Williams denied by Dover goalkeeper Yusuf Mersin five minutes before the break.
Danny Rowe lobbed over nine minutes from time with only Mersin to beat.
The draw means Bentley has picked up two points from two games since leaving Morecambe to take over AFC Fylde.
