Bentley begins with a point

Jim Bentley’s first game as AFC Fylde manager ended in a 1-1 draw at Maidenhead.
The former defender ended his long association at Morecambe on Monday, resigning in order to become Dave Challinor’s successor.
Fylde had their chances in the opening half as Luke Burke side-footed wide and Nicholas Haughton was off target twice.
The Coasters were punished three minutes after half-time when Josh Kelly’s stunning overhead kick flew into the net.
But Fylde equalised in the 73rd minute, shortly after Jordan Williams hit the post, with Neill Byrne heading in from a corner.
They almost won it late on but Danny Rowe volleyed over from close range.
