Northampton boss Keith Curle could stick with a winning formula when his side host Cambridge on Saturday.
Scott Pollock and Shaun McWilliams impressed in central midfield against Carlisle in midweek and could retain their places, with Chris Lines again starting on the bench.
Experienced midfielder Alan McCormack is a doubt after missing out on Tuesday having been withdrawn in the 56th minute against Salford last weekend.
Sean Whaler continues to edge closer to a return and midfielder Ryan Watson remains on the long-term absentee list after undergoing an operation on a broken collarbone.
Cambridge will hand a fitness test to on-loan Tottenham midfielder Jack Roles ahead of the game.
The 20-year-old suffered a back problem during the goalless draw with Grimsby on Tuesday.
Forward George Maris and defender Dan Jones will also undergo fitness tests and boss Colin Calderwood is expected to name a similar side to the one who drew with the Mariners if the duo misses out.
Defender Greg Taylor is continuing his recovery from illness but is not expected to be fit enough to face the Cobblers.
