Luke Gambin and Brandon Comley are set to return for Colchester for their Sky Bet League Two clash with Morecambe on Saturday.
Winger Gambin played for Malta during the international break in their games against the Faroe Islands and Sweden while Comley represented Monserrat in the CONCACAF Nations League.
Paris Cowan-Hall is a doubt after missing the last two matches with an injury, including his side’s 2-1 defeat at Crawley on Saturday.
Having been sidelined since re-joining Colchester, Callum Harriott could return soon from a quadricep injury after playing for the reserves on Tuesday.
Morecambe will be without suspended Jordan Cranston for the trip.
The left-back was shown a red card during his side’s 3-1 defeat at Port Vale on October 5.
Andrew Tutte remains a doubt for the game after missing the last two matches, as does Luke Conlan, who has not played since September 28.
Morecambe currently sit at the bottom of League Two with just seven points and one win from their first 13 matches.
